The 31st European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE 2023) took place in Bologna, Italy, from 5 to 9 June and attracted more than 1500 participants from 79 countries around the globe.

The event featured 700 plenary, oral and visual presentations in 100+ scientific and industry sessions, 14 parallel events and 28 live stage presentations discussing progress towards using biomass in a circular and sustainable economy.

The EUBCE 2023 exhibition showcased 20 EU projects and was joined by 38 exhibitors from 12 countries.

On Friday, 9 June, the event featured two technical tours to AGRIBIOENERGIA Cooperative Farm, the University of Bologna Experimental Farm and RE-CORD facilities.
