Abstract:
Pyrolysis of variety of Tunisian biomass residues: olive wood, olive pomace, almond shell and seaweed have been investigated by means of thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) in isothermal and nonisothermal conditions. The TGA experiments were undertaken to investigate the kinetic of the thermal decomposition of biomass and study the effect of temperature, biomass type and heating rate on biochar yield.
