Abstract:
Bioenergy Sustaining the Future (BESTF3) is a European initiative aiming to encourage the commercialisation of bioenergy projects and increase renewable energy production across the EU. By incorporating the cooperation with ERA-Net Bioenergy as an additional activity within the project, demonstration and research are brought together and collaborative projects are thus encouraged across the entire TRL spectrum. The overall aim of this BESTF ERA-Net Co-Fund is to implement a joint programme for bioenergy projects that demonstrate enhanced bioenergy technologies. It will leverage public-private partnerships to manage the risks and share the financing of close-to-market bioenergy projects in order to facilitate cooperation.
