Abstract:
The goal of the study will be to inventory biomass wood power plants as a first essential step for all related planning efforts to implement the biomass strategy for reduction of fossil sources in energy production. This inventory also represents a first step toward sustainable energy policies and renewable integrated energy vision since information on type and geographic distribution of biomass, type and geographic distribution of power plants are perceived as critical for feasibility analysis about future energy projects. Furthermore, transporting biomass fuel such as forestry wood to a power plant is an important aspect that affects the maximum rate of biomass supply and the hauling distance for biomass transportation to the energy conversion facility. For this reason, transport and roads infrastructure will be study.
