Abstract:
Value creation, a core purpose of economic actions, is a common concept in business and economy. Value creation of biogas means how much value biogas creates. In China, there are many researches on technical feasibility, however, value creation still lacks of concern. Biogas can replace many other energies. In this paper, potential of value creation of biogas in China in different utilization from 2011 to 2020 is analyzed. As a result, unit value creation of 1 m3 methane in different energy sectors is compared. The results show that value creation for vehicular use is the highest, and using as gasoline replacement is higher as diesel replacement; followed by substitution of natural gas; of liquefied petroleum gas; electricity from combined heat and power (CHP) plant is relatively low; heat supply is the lowest.
