Abstract:
The POWER-E-COM project (co-funded by the EU under contract no. 101120998) aims to solve all barriers for energy communities by supporting local authorities and citizens to collaborate and play an active role in the energy transition, with the design of a common methodology to develop viable energy community models in the six partner countries and its testing in minimum 30 pilot energy communities overall (18 leaders setting-up and 12 secondaries). These models should be easily replicated by local authorities from other EU countries, as they represent a variety of EU regulations and markets.
