Abstract:
The energy requirement from non-fossil sources represents a need that is no longer negligible regardless of the present agricultural reality. Intensive agriculture leads to a progressive impoverishment of the territory and integration with photovoltaics represents an important opportunity for the entire agroenergy sector. The identified path allows the integration between energy production, management of by-products and agricultural production differentiated according to the nature and methods of the technical means managed. However, the integration between energy production and agriculture cannot avoid evaluating the technological level of the agricultural sector and in particular the existing machinery fleet which is now strongly characterized by the individual rural production context. The progressive and targeted adoption of agro-industrial by-products from a circular economy perspective represents an important opportunity for the relaunch of the supply chain.
