Abstract:
In the set up laboratory observations were made of algae growth on silicon tubes, focusing especially on areas without a turbulent water flow. This coverage can lead to reduced light input and lower reactor capacity. When algae growth is analyzed the spectra of artificial light needs to be as close as possible to the natural one. Therefore, several bulbs, fluorescent tubes and the absorption of flasks have been measured. Large-scale systems require large amounts of CO2. To be economic different possible exhaust sources have been determined and their cosubstances have been compared.
